QuranRecord is a digital platform designed for Islamic schools, mosques, and Quran institutions to track Quran recitation, memorization (Hifz), and attendance in the most efficient way.
We built it after years of real-world research in North America, Asia, and Africa — witnessing first-hand the struggles teachers, management, and parents face in managing Quran education.
Our mission is simple: preserve the beauty of traditional learning while removing the barriers that paper-based systems create.
We believe QuranRecord began as nothing less than a calling from Allah.
One of our team members met a student who had attended the mosque for nearly five years — yet had not memorized even five Juz properly. Concerned, he approached the teacher, only to discover that there was no record of the student's progress — not even from the previous week, not even on paper.
The mosque management explained that all responsibility was left to teachers, who were overwhelmed by hundreds of students and heavy workloads. In North America, hiring additional teachers is extremely expensive.
This led us on a journey — searching for another school for the student, researching Quran education in leading institutions, and uncovering a truth that would change everything.
Our research covered mosques, Islamic schools, and Quran institutions in:
We focused on students learning Quran recitation and memorization, aiming to understand the systems in place. What we found was eye-opening:
Almost 100% still follow traditional methods — valuable, but difficult to maintain with large student numbers.
Recordkeeping methods were inconsistent:
Many relied solely on students to remember where they stopped and tell the teacher the next day.
Where records existed, they were often incomplete and scattered.
Management was unaware of missing records; teachers couldn't keep up due to workload.
Parental involvement was minimal — many parents didn't check attendance, progress, or homework.
Schools had no easy way to analyze:
We realized: Paper-based systems can never solve this.
A digital platform was the only way forward.
Convincing institutions to change is never easy — it's human nature to resist change. Every rejection reminded us of the patience and persistence of our prophets (peace be upon them) in guiding people toward truth.
But QuranRecord directly solves the problems we saw in our research:
Log a student's recitation in under 5 seconds.
Average of 4 minutes to record 15 students.
Via email, SMS, or app — fully customizable by school management.
Mark attendance in just a few clicks and notify parents instantly.
The system alerts teachers, management, and parents if even one record is missing.
We provide training for teachers, management, and parents.
We improve QuranRecord continuously, based on feedback from real schools.
QuranRecord solves all the issues of traditional paper-based systems — and we are constantly updating it based on valuable suggestions from schools. It bridges the gap between traditional Quran learning and modern educational tools. InshaAllah, we will always strive to give you the best.
